Women in Research Workshop

Updated: Mar 9, 2020

Our first Women in Research workshop was held on Thursday 5 December 2019, which was designed to help Australian women in their research careers.

This workshop was facilitated by Laureate Fellow, Sharon Parker, Director of The Centre of Transformative Work Design, and featured the resources she and her team have developed for the website Women in Research.

The workshop included a keynote address by Curtin University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Deborah Terry AO, and a series of activities covering the three pillars: Managing You, Managing Careers and Managing and Mentoring.

This was an excellent opportunity to learn practical strategies to progress the career and to help build the community of West Australian women researchers.
