Writing is at the heart of academic work. It’s how we communicate ideas, build careers and contribute to our fields. But despite its importance, it’s often one of the hardest things to make time for. The process can feel overwhelming, isolating and creatively draining.
With the right habits, tools, and support, writing doesn’t have to feel like a constant struggle. It can become a more manageable rewarding part of academic life.
In this webinar, ARC Laureate Fellow and lead of the Women in Research initiative Professor Sharon Parker (Curtin University) will explore some of the most common writing challenges — from perfectionism and procrastination to fear of feedback — and how to overcome them with greater clarity and confidence.
